Hey Steve, welcome to the forum!!!

First of all, what kind of t-case do you have in that truck?

I've never put an indexing ring on a t-case before. But seriously, how hard can it be? I definitely think it would be a good idea to go ahead with this mod, especially if you're going to to add the 1.5" coil spacer in the front. If you were able to move around that front d60 while putting on the lift, then I'm sure moving around the t-case won't be a problem.

Just make sure your crossmember won't get into the way.... I don't think I could clock my t-case on my truck too much before the driveshaft would be going through the crossmember.

Re: indexing ring's

hey serge,

the dodge has a nv241 under it.    If i remember right one of the guys who did one on a dodge forum had a piece of pipe welded into his x-member (half a piece, not full round) and that was his driveshaft clearance.   But if i do this, it might avoid having to clock the pumpkin in the front!   i'll keep ya posted on this job, it prob wont get done for a little while yet i just like researching stuff first.

Re: indexing ring's

It's probably easier and cheaper to clock the front diff?

On the other hand, there is one issue with with spinning the front diff like that... The pinion bearings won't get as much oil to them, and wear out faster.

So maybe it's better to clock the transfer case and notch your crossmember.
